Ecology & Graduate School

I attend Eastern New Mexico University, a relatively small school located in Portales, New Mexico.
Currently, I am in my first year of graduate school to obtain a MS degree in Biology.
I am a member of a group called the BERG (Behavioral Ecology Research Group). The main focus of our group is to study the behavioral aspects of an organism's relationship to its environment.

Herpetology

This has been an almost fanatatical obsession of mine since witnessing my mother step on the most gorgeous snake I had ever seen when I was about 5 years old. This snake turned out to be an eastern coral snake (Micrurus fulvius).
